Your opinion of rooting harmone

I bought some one time a few years ago. it said not to use for food products, maybe there are some that is for food, I just never bought any more. I used what I had for house plant cuttings etc.. Don't think I noticed much diiference

I've used mega grow. Placed on seeds, helps beans although the effect is very short lived. Sprayed over top in garden, never noticed any increase in production.

Believe it helps if plant is stressed.

I think we had a thread on here once about using aspirin for rooting hormone. Also for using in the garden to promote root growth. Idea was since aspirin was originally from willow, the same properties are there.

I used to put an aspirin in each tomatoe hole along with other stuff that Cynthia from Love Apple Farm uses. My heirlooms have always produced very nicely even though supposedly it's hard to grow them this close to the bay. So this season I decided to stop using aspirin along with the fish head I put in. This year all I used was some organic fertilizer, bone meal, and ground calcium. I'm curious to see how they do. Getting those fish heads was a pain since I had to go to china town where there is no parking!

I was going to use aspirin last year to promote seed growth. When I read up on it it seemed that you could ruin your seeds if used to strong. So I didn't bother.
