Yesterday we had another "fooled you" cloud pattern. Yeah, it rained, north of us, south of us, west of us and east of us, but, for US? NUTTIN!!!

Weather-wise, we had an unpleasant day, yesterday.
A high temperature of 94°f (34°C) and an air quality of 94 with 100 being the borderline between Moderate and Unhealth for Sensitive Groups. This was because of some blowing dust and the smoke. Strangely enough, it was mostly smoke from the west side of the Cascades. All the Way across the mountains, smoke was blowing from the "Bear Creek Fire" near Olympia. Good Grief, it was certainly uncommon and uncomfortable!
The unpleasantness was brought by wind gusts 34mph (30 knots, so not quite what @Dahlia has to expect).

Its sprinkling down here this morning. We were supposed to get actual rain, but nothing but dampness so far. I'd like a good rain to soak some of the trees and foundation plants.

Same here in NW Oregon. A nice change everything is so bone dry.
It’s 55F now and 81F High. We have a thick marine layer overcast and misting at the moment. Quite a change from 3 days ago it was 100F.

humid and hot for today and not much of a breeze, which is making mowing a drip fest but i'm almost done. i had to come in for a cool off break and some water before finishing up. a few more minutes and then back to it.
