My cats used to have a mixed response to bad weather. The female would brave it, without a look back. The tomcat would look up at me as tho he was saying, "Fix It !"

My old Timothy, would glare then turn his back on me.

Oliver decided to stay inside the damp rabbit hutch and I had to put his breakfast in there. Silly cat, he's got a perfectly good warm and dry kennel in the old green house.

Still raining here. Even when the forecast says it light, it heavy.
The temperature according to this forecast claims to be 12c feeling like nine.

This rain is supposed to ease off by 4pm. If this past weeks forecast is anything to go by, I seriously have my doubts on that.

It's been raining s lot here too and next week we are supposed to get dumped on at record amounts! Like a weeks worth of rain in one day! Luckily the temps are currently very mild

Atmospheric wind / rain storm passing. The pasture is a pond in some areas. Mucky muddy. Slipping and a sliding .
Careful out in the rain today all Easy Grdeners.

some of moisture from the recent storms has made it over to the Rockies where they keep track of their snowpack like the arid country dwellers they are.

it has boosted the percentage of normal from 45% to 70% over the past few days.

now they are heading into a more warmer and rainy spell which will melt some of that snow and put it into the ground instead of holding it as snow above ground so this helps them out for keeping the next spring runoff going as any bit that gets into the ground is better than it being sublimated away by the cold and dry air or the hot and dry air for that matter...

i just hope they keep getting enough moisture to give them a good year for a change.

cold and crisp this morning for trash day. glad i was only out there for a few moments.

At 7AM, it's 43⁰f (6⁰C).

In 1939, the low temperature for this date was 42⁰. We may have a new record.

Fairly calm outdoors and the rain has stopped. The Weather Service is predicting wind gusts to 50mph later !!! I have 2 tasks this morning. Maybe I can complete those, not be blown off the road/sidewalk and be back before there are any problems .
