It will be interesting to see the reports on all N America areas east of the Rockies over the next few days. Take Good Care.

Here — I saw some stars this morning! I wasn't out there long in my bathrobe because it was 21⁰f (-6⁰C) with a 5mph breeze. It is supposed to be a Sunny Day!

This chance to see the sunshine is exciting because ... we have had 7 days without a single glimpse of the sun. Count 'em, seven. This was like being a child back in that mountain valley, 50 miles from the Pacific. Seven days with the temperature spread of no more than 6⁰f from highs to lows. Not Winter cold, just hang right at freezing.

Today is the coldest morning but it ain't nuthin like what Winter should be expected to be, here-abouts. And, it's not much compared to what is yet expected back east ... just became lost in weather forecasts in some areas where family live, 6 below zero in the South ?! Expected 1+ inch of ice from storm?! You folks be careful.

It is so cold here. Then add in the wind. Last night our low was -14 with wind chill of -37. Looks to be like this for the next 3 days and then very could for almost 2 weeks before we see anything above 39. UGH do not want to see the utility bill. Water either as I need to leave water trickle in kitchen as that is the pipe that tends to freeze when it gets to 20 or lower. :(
