I was gonna put ponies in their stalls tonight, but it's only gonna be a little bit of rain overnight. Next week, however, we are looking at ice, so they will be inside for a few days. Meanwhile the birds are singing and the grass is starting to green up.

Windy today. The temperature is right at freezing but 25mph gusts are making it a wind chill of much colder. Good thing it is gusts and breeze is a steady 10mph but it brings a "feels like" of 24⁰f (-4⁰C).

Google news aggregater headlines a "western" state agricultural drought problem which captured my attention. Turns out the state is Michigan. Can't be a western state and be in the Eastern Time zone, don't you know ;).

Close to @flowerbug 's neighborhood, Ludington Daily News has the story of continuing drought conditions and how farmers may have to adapt to growing conditions. There are some ideas here in the Mountain and Pacific time zones. BTW, as we shift to daylight saving time, i have some ideas how employers can conserve even more of the workers' energy through the Summer months. Happy to share soon ;).
