Very warm today, Nearly 70 degrees F. I have waited to use my God mower. About 8 years ago I had a used Toro, and I ran it into late November. I didn't know your could crack the engine block in a gas powered mower if you run it and it's too cold for the oil to work.
My God mower is now, brand new, worth over $6K, so waiting to run it on a warm day is crucial.
My compact tractor has a cold weather feature, a Glo Plug, that preheats the engine in cold weather, so I Can run that in the winter.
Although I need the exercise to get back in shape, after spending 3 months in bed this winter and muscle atrophy, I can get More done driving around with my tow wagon. I'll take that.

It's finally sunny today! Went for a bike ride with DH this afternoon and now helping DD with some minor home repairs.

Living near the coastal mountains of the PNW even on a good day in summer a visit to seaside ya still freeze.
Today H57F L35F.. That bright light in the sky i see is it a UFO I see hiding behind the clouds? Oh it’s the sun finally busting thru the heavy marine cloud layers just at supper time. Sunset at 7:25 PM , that’s almost 2 hours of sunshine.
Hurry running outside right now to soak up that elusive local Vit-D.

We have had sun for a few days, we are blessed yet again with sun this morning

Apparently this is going to continue until Tuesday. When we are due to having more rain.

Wouldn't it be great, if we could have 5 days of sun and two days of rain every week

I’’ll take just 3 days of sun. Can’t imagine what it is like to have warmth outside. It’s been a long wet chilly winter.
Even the birds are beginning to protest the weather. No chirping just sulking.

Forecast has a high of 57F here today, but a bit windy. Not too bad as I may try to get out for a short walk this afternoon.

Crying yesterday might have been the correct word altho the tears weren't streaming down.

A quarter of an inch fell — which counts for something. Three times that amount was a possibility. Puffing and blowing is promised for today and tonight. That looks to be blowing away any further chances of rain or snow.

The possibility of Summer water restrictions is becoming something talked about on local news.
