Sadly yesterday afternoon's rain only produced 0.126" of sprinkles. Nothing nowhere needed to soak in. I guess it washed off the dust.

In a couple of days, I'll have hubs turn on all the timers around the place. There goes the water bill!!

just looking at the current national radar whch shows a band of moisture being drawn up through NM towards the NW (a very unusual direction for the weather to travel) into CO which desperately needs the moisture, i sure hope it delivers...

looks like it will really help NM water situation too. *keeps fingers, toes and anything else crossed that might help even if it is just a little exercise for me*

Do you on the west coast have a governmental issue with using rain barrels, or saving rain water?

I have no idea . I’m on a well. Water is not an issue here really. Just curious.. Why do you ask?

the Pacific NW doesn't really have much to do with the Colorado River Basin or the diversions of water that head over to California or into Utah or Wyoming.

I don’t reside in Colorado anymore and yes there is a drought there and water restrictions. I reside where my moniker shows… Shades of ‘Oregon’ the West coast.
