I use something similar on the chickens. They pick red so changing the color to purple makes the wound no longer interesting. -
I’ve used that too. Plus all kinds of ointments, nothing worked. He goes swimming in the pond a dozen times a day. That didn’t help any. LOL -

There a antiseptic vet spray to put on that will stop the itch. I use on my animals a lot. On Amazon
