Put a a game camera in front of entrance to driveway, place it on a tree thats on rodes shoulder, I think all rodes have so many feet public right of way.

Sorry, that sounds like a good way to lose a game camera. AS IS should be 'AS IS' from the day you saw it and made your offer. Otherwise, people can raze the buildings and bulldoze the property for topsoil between your bid and closing. There should be some way to recoup the value of some of the stolen things.

We are dealing with HUD. just filed our 2nd extension. If we don't close on it this time, then the house goes back on the market and we lose everything we have done thus far. If it were not for this looming deadline, I would dig in and fight, because it isn't right to be treated like this. If it wasn't such a good deal, we'd tell them to get screwed. But it is a good deal, so we suck it up, play by their rules and do the best we can with it. Yes, it sucks, yes we are angry, yes we are stressed, but there are a whole lot worse things in life. We will get through this, we will be glad we hung in there. Being fair to the ones who pay their salaries and doing the right thing has absolutely nothing to do with it. I have done my email "homework" assignment for this morning, am working on a contractor bid and faxing every bit of paper that the lender asks for. This is a miserable, miserable experience. But I'm not backing down. I just have to blow off steam and thanks for letting me come here to vent!

Finally! I got my grubby paws on the contractor bid yesterday afternoon! Everything was halted until I got that bid. All week I have been stressed over this and there was absolutely nothing I could do about it. It was entirely in someone else's hands and he chose to wait for THREE DAYS on an AC guy that finally wouldn't even return his phone calls. Really? You dummy! You waste THREE DAYS on a jerk that won't even return your calls? I could barely contain my rage as I told the contractor that obviously that guy didn't want to work, get somebody else NOW. NEXT!

I have black circles under my eyes, can't sleep, totally disgusted, have had a headache for the last 4 days and I just want to sign on the dotted line and get this phase of this circus for morons over with.

I got the contractors bid barely in time. The appraiser will appraise the property on Monday or Tuesday and couldn't complete his job without the contractor bid.

I did strongly repeat several times to the contractor that we would have less than 30 days after closing to get everything repaired, fixed, wired, installed and whatever else we have to do, to satisfy the lender. He said it would be a priority. I know where he lives.......

Poor @baymule! I fully understand the problems dealing with the government. We have done a bit of it ourselves lately. It seems there is ALWAYS "one more paper" that needs to be filed, finished, or found before any action by the government can be done.
