Yay! I finally have some time to plant a garden!
I am thinking to dig up one of my 4 X 8 raised beds and put in some late-summer veggies. I am in Zone 5. What do you think?
They make such pretty lawn ornaments, I hate to pen them up. Other people in the area have both chickens and grass. How can I solve this dilemma and save my marriage?
It is a removable one, just the size for one of my raised beds. I want to get an early start on some veggies (zone 5). What should I pit in this thing, and how soon can I do it?
We have 3 cats who use cheap clay litter, and 2 guinea pigs who are using straw on top of pine shavings. Can I use their poop for compost in my flower beds? Hubs wouldn't eat anything grown with it, regardless of whether it's "safe" or not.
I have always wanted a small windowsill herb garden so I can get a few fresh herbs whenever I want them. Seems like winter is a good time to start this, right?
I have tried a few times to start indoor herb gardens, but have never had any luck. One time my cat dug it up, another time...
