Red, been wondering how you Nawtherners keep the eggs from freezing! Heat lamps! Makes sense to me!

The news is going nuts predicting a dire storm tomorrow, saying more ice and snow. Schools have already closed for tomorrow. We'll see.

We are expecting 'up to 3 inches' of snow overnight.... they've just announced that schools are closing today at noon.....

Round 2 for Texas.

Woke up to sleet and ice this morning. Watched the news crews in a flurry of excitement over another ice/sleet/snow storm. Took an updated picture of my flip flops, even put on my fancy socks and jeweled flip flops!

We were watching Channel 2 news this morning and a news caster was at the airport. Empty. No lines of upset people with cancelled flights-they all stayed home. Nobody to talk to. What's a newscaster to do when he is desperately trying to show how bad the weather is affecting flights when there are no angry people to talk to? AHA! A sleeping man in a massage chair. Poor guy woke up to a newscaster in his face, a microphone, camera and LIVE TV!!

Baymule we are getting ice and then switching over to snow too. Crazy weather. Not common in thiis part of GA. I planted onion, garlic and shallots yesterday and didn't have to use a tool or a jacket. They didn't have school today just in case and they don't have school tomorrow.

HunkieDorie23, it has been nuts here. We had snow, then 70 degrees, then ice and sleet, tonight will get down to 21 degrees.

It is not supposed to be doing this! AAARRGH!!!

Baymule, you are killing me here with these photo's and comments. My daughter hasn't been in school for almost 2 weeks because of the bitter cold temperatures we have been having. Just seen we will have a few days of warm weather, but right back in to the deep freeze for about 3 days again next week. I don't like the cold and snow, but these bitter temperatures have got to break before spring. The Ohio river has frozen!
