Yes, please let us know of any pickle experiences. It sounds like the cucamelon may give a big crop all at one time? They're so cute, I would need a way to preserve them... and almost anything is good pickled, and in a cocktail.
I see @digitS' filled you in, and it's his fault that I'm growing Par-cel.
I have them planted in my annual border in front of the veg garden, an appealing edible I think. I like celery and parsley so I'm sure I'll find a use for it.

Here is La Madera these days:
The fruit looks so mature! It looks like an early variety.
Native Seeds say, "The fruits can be 5-25 lbs." I'm guessing the low end in my garden and that is fine for DW and me. Buttercup is a 3 to 5 pound squash and that is about right. I'm so looking forward to harvesting these.
How are other things new??!

Most of mine were grey or green grey with pink splashes and I find it to be highly variable in terms of appearance but the eating quality was good across the lot.
Did you only get the one color ?

Wow I haven't had one with fruit like that yet! Any chance the seed from these will be pure or are they growing near the Buttercups?
