I planted 3 Beauty Bush (kolkwitzia amabilis ) on the house side of my tank. The back side is woods. They're beautiful in May and June when they're covered in blooms. They completely hide the tank all summer.

Jared, instead of looking at that tank and thinking "big ugly mothership intruding on my life," just think "big safe source of fuel to warm my children and cook good food for my family." It's all a matter of perspective.

In Cal. our neighbors have 250 gal. tanks and have to fill them up about every month to 6 weeks during the cold months of the year and see their propane bill jump up to $0.50/ gal to over $1.00 ++/ gal from the " every day low, low prices "every time they fill up. When I built our house, I installed a 1,200 gal tank and fill it up in late July or early Aug. when the prices are the lowest and it last us all year until the next lowest price comes along. This tank was paid for in 3 years of savings from not having to pay the higher prices. :celebrate

Eagerly anticipating getting rid of tank and enjoying the energy savings of the Earth. We still need 2 weeks of good weather before we get hooked in to the ground.
