Four by four post. . . the square post at the end of the steps.(seen on page 1 of this thread) It will hold the hand rails tight once it is tricked out in all its eight by eight glory.

Here's the current status of our Victorian adventure.

Son promised he's have the siding on the front before winter. Unfortunately, winter has come early to south-est, central-est Wisconsin. I doubt we will get any further unless we're assaulted with an Indian summer.

Notice my best guy and his (my?) dog? Like the dog, love the guy!
