Haha, I'm just glad he didn't want to bring in the ducks, too! Super messy, super loud, super needy and I'm sure the house dog wouldn't be as friendly towards them.
Oh, look at that contented piggy napping on your lap. And that smile in photo 6. She is one happy porcine pet. How ever do you plan to reverse your actions and keep her out after showing her Pipper Nirvana?
On the other hand, I have heard that house pigs are really clean, easy to train, and make fun pets . . . and since you only have the one (who is likely to be so lonely outside) by herself. . . . .
I actually have 4 pigs total. But the other 3 are family and live happily together. I'm waiting for spring to hurry up so I can put her in a pen next to the others so they can ~hopefully~ make friends and live all together one day.
Looks like I may of found a buyer for the sow and the boar(parents of the PB glit)! If they do sell tomorrow like planned, then I'll be working on getting the PB glit to make friends with Pipper.
I don't want to have any more piglets, but pigs need friends, but Pipper is too adorable to rehome, but the boar won't sell without a sow to go with him....Lol, so yea.
Pipper comes running when I call her. She met the sow and glit yesterday, but that didn't go great for Pipper. Others chased her off and she'd run up to me, hop into my lap and wait for the bullies to settle before hopping off and trying again.
If pipper can't make buddies with the glit, I'll have a very spoiled lone and needy Pipper living in the shed during winter and out with the horses during summer.
