@Carol Dee I love blooming cacti! Do you have a photo of your handsome cactus?:)
Here it is 2 years ago. It winters indoors above my kitchen cabinets.

Beauty! After flowering, it can be shortened by unscrewing the last segment on a branch plant. This will give him the compactness and improve flowering next season.
If you take the red or golden purse, put the purse in nine identical coins, and then put it under your blooming cactus, it will bring various unexpected cash receipts. It will be a little money, but they will. This works as long as the cactus blooms!

Yes, the cactus is something of a family heirloom. It was my Husband's Grandmother's. She gave it to my Mother-in-law and then she gave it to me. I have been in the family 39 years. It was a BIG cactus when I joined the family. :)

I also have such an artifact! This aloe. It belonged to my mother in law. Aloe is a medicinal plant. At my mother in law, he grew up as a tree. When her son wanted to marry me, she was not happy. Well, she was not pleased to any other woman. But I was clever girl. I often called her, talked to her about her health. I invited her to visit for lunch. She thought I was a good cook!

Well, it's because she was cooking food even worse than I do.

When she gave it to me aloe, I realized that I I'm part of her family. I grow it as a bush. Many people ask me for cuttings. I was just taking root in the water right now. I believe in the family, he is also 40 years, possibly more.

And by the way, congratulations to all the gardeners with the first day of spring and the new season!

@Larisa We also have a very old Aloe, it is in my son's home. HE inherited it when he bought his grandparent's house. He has given away countless babies from the parent plant and when I stopped there Sunday he about 10 more started. LOVE the 1st day of spring heart.

On the balcony of crocuses blossomed. On the package it was written by "a mixture of colors." Someone preparing such a mixture? Colorblind?
