I am inspired to bring home an orchid next time I see one at Home Depot! Would the light from my sky light in the kitchen be o.k.?

@Carol Dee More light - better. But not in the sun. We are now overcast, the sun peeps rare. But phalaenopsis bloom.

I don't know why I never made this offer before, I give away phalaenops after done blooming. If anyone wants to try and get orchid to reflower I would be happy to send in spring when warm enough. Phalaenops are suppose to be the easiest of the orchids.

How wonderful to have a breath of spring while snow covers the city! My cactus also bloomed a second time this winter. In Late November and it has a few blooms now! :)

They need and warm clothing, and light. We unstable weather is expected. But foreigners are now a lot of bonuses.
