While technically correct New Jersey is north of you, they consider themselves easterners....... That like calling a true Texan a southerner. Southerners are east of the big muddy while west are Texans.

I started life in Wisconsin, moving to Western Washington in 68 I guess I have
a bit of the Midwestern but the go for it of Washington State.. I spent almost 18 years
in Juneau Ak. learning to slow down and not be in such a hurry... but I still don't let the grass
grow under my feet much.

Gee I think there I have to say.. those of us raised in the 50 years all where given manners
by our parents no matter where it started right... My daughter was raised in Juneau born there
but she was taught them same as I was from german decent. I am very proud to say she is passing it on to her kids now my two grandchildren...
