How do you keep the deer away?
Haven't ever had a problem with deer eating anything I've planted in the yard. Once they killed a couple of treed rutting in the new orchard and still are munching on the sugar maple in front of the woods. Dog perhaps?
Those are beautiful, Red. I wish Rhodies did well here. Do they get stressed in the heat of summer?
Yes, they surely do get stressed in the heat of summer when rainfalls are few and far between. They have to knock on the door and beg before I remember I have well-water and hoses that reach them. They are mostly in the shade and do have a goodly amount of mulch at their feet.

So beautiful! I love them very much! I gathered the spring dry seeds and they germinated. I think that such a beautiful color easy to find a new home.

Lovely Smart Red, thanks for sharing part of your world with us. We don't have Rhodies here, but we have azaleas. They are a welcome sight in spring, so pretty!
