I bought my own stealth camera Thursday. Not to catch the wildlife, but to photograph the neighbor the next time he tosses my things out of my side of the shed.

I'm back to instigating again. Trying to 'force' something done and keep him out of my property.

Oh, how terrible. I would be so angry. Of course, I would never live anywhere else than right here where a few "missing" deer are truly never missed.

Our neighborhood is well populated and the deer numbers are exploding. It is not unusual to see them during the day in yards and walking down the street. Cars no longer scare them, as they are now used to seeing them and simply ignore them.

Jack, obviously there is no one named Bubba living in your neighborhood. If there was, there would be no deer problem.......

Yep. They are like fleas on a dog at a couple of places I work.
In one community someone started thinning them out at night since the officials that are supposed to be looking out for their citizens welfare aren't taking any action.
Big hullabaloo about that, and I'm not condoning it, but I definitely understand the motivation behind it.

The thing with deer is to keep changing things up. You can never stick to one method (short of high speed projectiles ) you have to keep them off balance and nervous. It's a lot of effort, but it's what we have to do to keep them off our plants.
And fawns eat anything until they know what they don't like.

Use a few different repellents, set up a hot wire strand knee high out back for a few weeks, get one of those motion activated impulse sprinklers and set it up in different locations. It won't make them go away for good, but they'll spend more time at your neighbors.

I guess that deer are always on the run when natural showers from the big springkler in the sky just happens to turn on when the deer start nibling on your favorite plant. NOT !!!

I think it more of surprise blast of cold water startles deer. I have turned hose on animals used to rain, they always ran away.

Be careful of this one, it is shipped from Hong Kong and may take forever to get here.
It looks like a good idea but it needs to be located in a closer area.

I had a problem with deer earlier, they just about decimated my bush beans. Since we use elect fences for some of our pets, I ran a hot wire around my beans.
At the same time I picked up some spray deer repellent and sprayed all around the bean patch. Since doing these 2 things they haven't ate any more beans, although I did see a big ole doe standing next to the elect. wire. I don't know if I scared here when I let the front door shut, or if she was about to leave anyway.
