@journey11 your garden is a 10 nice job puts mine to shame....ps you got to love the pool we have one as well nothing like a dip in the pool as a hard day.

It's just a little one for the kids, but definitely appreciated by us big kids too on a hot day. :)

I don't think I'll ever beat the output of your well organized garden. I definitely have garden envy. :D I'm just now starting to get stuff from it. Better late than never though I guess. I'm ashamed to say i never put in any cukes this year.

Stuffed green peppers for dinner tonight and a small mess of green beans. I'm making double to take some to my Dad. He loves them.

My smilin' garden helpers... Didn't take long for the little one to say "I don't feel like doing beans anymore."

Stuffed peppers, hot, mild or bland?

California Wonder green bells... I think they taste like pizza with the melted mozzarella on top. I put a lot of garlic in too. I used canned tomato sauce from last years garden, but I think I like them with spaghetti sauce better instead. Home canned tomatoes were sweeter and less savory. Still good though.

Do you ad chop meat and rice ? I am almost tempted to try and make. I miss my mothers.
You need to make stuffed peppers. They are so easy and you can put almost anything you want in them. The key is to bake them only for 30 minutes so that they are not too soft.

FYI, gypsy peppers will turn red. Let some go, and they went a beautiful red.

I like stuffed peppers made with ground pork as part. Plus a little spice for heat.
