I love chili rellenos but not everybody makes them good. It's hard to find really good ones at a restaurant. I'm particular about mine.

Oh sorry, I don't make them. I just know which ones I like at restaurants. The batter should be light, pepper cooked, and not smothered with too much cheese.

Whenever I crave taco's I pull a jar of my home canned taco meat I also make homemade taco seasoning I don't buy the over priced crap from the store) off my shelf along with a jar of home canned hot salsa..I do buy the tortillas and taco shells..but have once (last summer) made homemade flour tortillas and that's a lot of work when using a rolling pin with torn rotator cuffs ! But,I did it so I know if I had to make my own I could.
