Lost my best friend yesterday :(

It's very hard to lose a good, good dog. My heart goes out to you, Journey. :hugs When a great story comes to an end, it's hard to close that book...you just want to keep reading and reading the story.

Any we get after this will be more the kids' dog
Don't be too sure, Journey :).

Dogs have decisions to make, as well. When the last ball has been tossed, the last tidbit nibbled, and the family gathers to watch something silly on tv - a dog has to decide who provides the best personal space for a safe snooze ... before bedtime.

And, when those kids grow up and don't have time for a dog ... who then can share the experience and kind words? Who better understands and chooses not to be alone?

Once my dog is gone, it seemed to me that she was still in the house. It seemed to me that it goes somewhere, and I hear her footsteps. So sorry. :hugs
