Isn't it funny how I have searched for this weed in the past, many times, and couldn't find it until I posted one this site! LOL

I've done the same thing, looking for an ID for something for days, then one day when I'm not even thinking about it a name or new clue pops into my head and I land on it.

It is a very satisfying feeling, I understand your excitement!

Good job! At least it isn't named as invasive or noxious. So you can enjoy it and not feel guilty, haha!

I love this groundcover. It would look good under my pine trees but probably would grow with the pine needle mulch. Except for a few daffodils and crepe myrtles nothing else grows there.
