i can't tell if that is a flower stalk poking up or a leaf beginning. though, if you've not watered it for a year and a half i can't imagine it being a flower stalk...
i have them lined up on my table and old wooden boxes by my patio door, they've not even died back all the way this year (i stopped watering them sometime around TG i think i have to stop a few weeks sooner). and it's warmer in here this year by a few degrees. i wonder if i'll have flower stalks this year... hmm... we'll see in a few months. i don't start watering mine until it gets warmer and more sunny so they don't have to struggle getting enough light while starting out.
