so I made this thing to help ~ think I have to widen it ~ so the heel can come all the way back ~~~ wore them all day yesterday ~ worked in them ~ everything ~ they got them for riding ``` You can tell I'm right footed ~ the way they're breaking in ```

Pretty spiffy kicks you have there valley. My foot usually doesnt fit al the way into boot jacks either, I just get the heel in as far as possible and pry it off. The more broke in they get the easier on and off for you. Those girls sure spoil you valley, I’m sure you feel very fortunate. Hope you enjoyed your B Day

I had to reread the thread title. At first glance I thought it said daughter gave me the boot, I thought some nice kid you have . Granny here needs new glasses . Them's pretty nice boots you got there.

Are they comfortable to wear ? I once bought a very expensive pair of boots, after wearing 2 times gave to my cleaning lady, just to painful to wear

I was never able to wear them for long periods of time. About the only time I liked wearing them was when I went two stepping. That's coming from a bonafida Texan. I was more of a Converse man when I was playing ball, but since I'm old, I just wear something like sliders I can stick my foot in.

Someone on here said old age was a badge of honor, but here's my 2 cents. I'd trade 30 years of old age for 20 years of being 20 again.

I have wide feet, so I have to break in ALL of my leather riding boots. I am now wearing my paddock boots at work. They are black and look nice for a loan closing and finally are ready to ride in this year. Soon, I will be wearing my field boots to work to break THEM in.
