Quick question, what did you do with the other half lol.

lol, good one... it was one piece of bread cut in half and that was it. i'm not very active in the winter so i try to eat light. go most of a day on a bowl of cereal or half a sandwich. i made up for this earlier this week, we made a roast with taters, carrots, onions, plenty of garlic and mushrooms. had the for five days feasting. :)

have to say that ham and cheese grilled with yellow mustard is way up on the list of favorites...

This appears it would be better with the big kosher dills, rather than the hamburger dills. But any dill pickle would be good, I think.

That looks good Major. :)
We do grilled cheese with onions also.

Another favorite along those lines is our deluxe quesadillas. We do a Mexican blend of cheese, sliced avocados, thinly sliced tomatoes, thin sliced onions that are grilled on the griddle before I start assembling and a splash of Chalula, oh, and sometimes when we're feeling decadent a spoonful of sour cream. Heated on the griddle until nice and oozy and the tortilla is a little toasty. One of our favorite dinners. We like them on the jumbo corn tortillas.
If you're buttering the tortillas on both sides, then you're an honorary mexican! :)

I used to...and that sounds so good right now. I quit the butter because of all the cheese and sour cream. Have to be a little reasonable somewhere you know ;).

Dh and I are sick and haven't eaten much all weekend (everything tastes like soap ) but a buttered cheese quesadilla sounds doable right now. :)

You are all making me hungry and I just finished diner!

i'm contemplating... i.e. waking up and considering what might be for breakfast. the other day i was drinking pickle juice with my sandwich. it's not as strong as commercial version of pickle juice, but very refreshing. :) Mom was making yuck face. lol
