They look like a pair of healthy lungs. I guess (Old) Lady Slippers is a more appealing name than Old Lady Lungs, haha.

I looked it up for my mum, it's a Diachrysia chrysitis, the burnished brass. Apparently it's quite common here, or at least not rare but this was the first I've seen.

@catjac1975 Your flowers are so pretty this spring. Our poppy was huge but only had 1 bloom!
