I know some of you are leaving what seems to be a sinking ship and hopefully you will find a home away from home here, I did. Lots of knowledgeable people on many subjects, BUT beware, the north will try and lure you away from the south and the south will try and lure you away from the north. They'll lure you with seeds, cuttings, plants and anything else they think will work :celebrate.

I don’t understand? Of what could you be referring to? I have not seen or read anything malicious from a northern gardener. I will allow the new members to make up their own opinions as they see the pea pickers posting pix of their beautiful gardens while we patiently wait for spring thaw.

Surely you are not referring to this Southern gardener.....my garden sucks this year. I did pick two ripe tomatoes a few days ago. I must clarify....I did not plant the said tomato plant. It was a volunteer. I gave lots of tomato scraps to the chickens last summer, I cleaned the coop and inadvertently spread tomato seed about the garden. You will like this seedcorn....fire ants invaded both tomatoes and were eating them. :( It's so dry here I think they were after the moisture.

I hate that, I really do. I know you hate chemicals but I’d nuke those ants.....they can be Gods creatures somewhere else.....

When the others suffer, it takes away the fun of poking each other.

Now you do keep us updated on the build up of your new home. Thereby showing how lazy I am.......:bow:celebrate

To the newbies, see how evil the pea pickers are....

@majorcatfish for some reason I thought of you when I saw something at the grocery store the other day. A regional supermarket chain has beer can holders on their shopping carts, handy to the push bar. If you knew this area you would understand.

Sorry @seedcorn it would not hold a coffee cup that well. I'm guessing you drink a lot of hot coffee to stay warm.
