60 degrees on October first. I have been waiting for Indian summer.

Lovely as bittersweet is I have tried to eradicate it. It killed a whole stand of trees some time back strangling them to death. Though now a lovely garden is in it's place. I will prune these also but had to celebrate the beauty of this devil of a plant.

I have been roasting and freezing these Fushimi sweet peppers day after day. They will be a lovely addition to winter dinners. I have never seen such beautiful color.
