Rumbo makes the best pumpkin pie. Some catalogs call them a pumpkin some a squash. It is delicious roasted as a vegetable. And they are oh so pretty. This is what I use for Cathy's famous pumpkin pie.

We made 7 of them all different I think mine was the best when almost finished cooking I added a can of cherries to top and cooked a little more. When I saw can at market i thought it works for cheese cake why not pie. I really enjoyed weekend, my friends are now thinking of buying a weekend home here

Didn't you say they came by train? How will they get the pies home?

Mark works for a restaurant delivery service, He had special food bags kind of like they use to deliver pizza here but bigger. They where hoping to give close friends pies for Thanksgiving. Their kitchen is so small they can stand in middle and touch both walls. A kitchen with space to cook is something we take for granted, but to some people its a dream.
