@jackb , could be TEG's "local photographer!"

Check out this guy if you want to see some of the scenes in and around this corner of the world: http://www.craiggoodwinphoto.com . His picture of the river there heading his "New Additions" recently won him a WA State award. Clicking the "Night Scenes" will show you a Northern Lights scene that was in a 2015 Sunset Magazine. And, he warranted an actual UK newspaper article in the Daily Mail :).

Craig also organized a local farmers' market and community garden ;).

JackB, we need him to take more pictures ... maybe of zucchini blossoms and bumblebees ;). TEG could get him in newspapers and magazines!

Steve,
Nice link, this guy has some nice stuff. My son John has a comparable site: " I am a Saratoga, New York-based professional weather and environmental photographer specializing in commercial, landscape, event, photojournalism, action sports, lifestyle and stock photography." One in the family is quite enough.

Wow, those pictures don't even look real. If you are "up there" which very few are, you can make $500 per hour. That's how much the photographers charge that my daughter uses. Jackb, you could be making some spending money. ;)

Does that everyday picture help, @so lucky ? It isn't from this year but that is almost exactly what my little part of this area looks like today.

It isn't looking like that almost exactly 2 years later - incredibly foggy this morning but bare ground.

Around here we need to "think snow!"

Something this photographer just posted that I thought I should share and he really isn't just talking about his own neighborhood:

We are very pleased when we get one day of snow and are able to throw snowballs!

Good article. That guy is talented for sure. I have a picture of Kid#1 and those "ponies" from a road trip he took with friends.

And our weather is dismal. Yes, SNOW SNOW SNOW please!! Not this pathetic damp nothingness.:tongue
