What an aggravating day, poor you.
Those keys will probably show up in the weirdest place ever. I had my keys in my jeans pocket one day, which is very unusual for me, and was putting away laundry. For some reason I took the keys out and put them on my dresser, thinking I would remember to put them back in my purse if I saw them there.
Apparently when I plopped my folded socks on top of the dresser to open the drawer, I slid them in with the socks. Didn't figure that out for a couple of days.

Here's to your best race ever, hope you run like the wind!

We want race pictures! :weee Flat tire. :tongue

When do you get to move back in your house? Or have I missed it?

We have yet to see a red cent of our own money from the mortgage company. I will probably be homeless on the street by the time they send that check.

If you find a vagabond pitching a tent in your garden, it's me :p

I will definitely post pics. > 24 hours till race time!!

Oh, you don't have to pitch a tent in the garden, we got a really big horse barn!
Sold. Although a supervisor called me back. (Called ME. Not returned my call. Not graciously accepted my call after holding all day. CALLED ME.) She said she'd be overnighting the check on monday, and it will be there tuesday.

I've been lied to at least 50 times. Could this possibly be the truth? We'll find out...

>3 hours to go. I'm really getting nervous. It's just a fun run but omg. It's my first race!

First my son ran during the kid's dash. He might not have been first, but he was certainly the most stylish!

Then it was my turn!

Then there was a lot of running. I got swept up in the moment and forgot to pace at the beginning of the race. Then I sprinted to get past this kid who kept finding ways to hurt himself on my stroller.

Very beautiful scenery.

I was then promptly left in the dust by everybody, but I never stopped running once!

Finally...

I finished!!

I finished in 36:02 which is by far my best finishing time. Best of all I never once had to talk myself into the fact that I was going to keep running. I just did.

And then I died

After the race it was Rin's turn to shine! She entered into a costume contest and technically won, but there was a boy from the hospital on oxygen with a walker and...well...she won't remember winning anyway.

All the kids got a ribbon anyway!

Finally we visited the face painting booth and it was time to go

I don't know if I'll do another prep before the Spartan. The Spartan race is in September. I'll be live streaming it through a go pro. I'll provide a link for you guys so you can arm chair spartan if you want. :)
