Thank you Carol Dee, yes she has. She's very special to me.
A friend and I were laughing the other day at what I have financially in my little $25 horse. I don't really want to sit down and add it up, I might burst into tears!

Little update. Not much new has been happening, Still no word about my saddles progress. I guess they didn't actually want me dropping by to take photos of the process 
. Guess I can't blame them. They said they would send me pics, but nothing yet.
Meanwhile the Sweet Potato has grown in her wooly winter coat. She's a hoot and I love hanging around with her.
Today we trailered over to the state park and did a little goofing around. She had a little hiccup with the trailer loading, and so we have been doing a few of the basics over and building her confidence back.
I'm using a borrowed saddle and have stepped up and leaned my weight over her back but haven't thrown a leg over for a complete mount yet. Maybe this week... just want to make double triple sure I have dotted my I's and crossed my Tee's.
I have seen her buck.
Anyway we wandered around and jumped a few telephone poles*, watched some turkeys that piqued her curiosity...
She's "mullein"it over, haha.
Then we went into the arena for a little fun.
And after all that horsin' around she comes back to me at a trot when I call her.
*The telephone poles were horizontal. And on the ground. Thought I should clarify. ☺

make sure there's some deep snow to fall in first? she looks like she really enjoys playing and i hope that she understands that isn't for when you're up top, but just in case i'd be all one for soft landings! perhaps i'm paranoid?

She is lovely. How has your heart not burst from love for with a generous dollop of pride in her progress? Trotting back to you, that melts my heart. Love that girl!

@flowerbug , nope, you're not being paranoid, haha, that's a real possibility. I will have the wherewithal to pull her head around to quell any shenanigans, but I'm realistic in knowing my limitations. I'm not a kid and my reactions and balance will reflect that. I have been on her back dozens of times bareback, and a few saddled, but it's always been next to the fence panel with a hand and foot on it in case I needed to come off. In other words, she has never carried my weight forward and that's going to be the true test. Things they handle while standing still are different when they are in motion.
