Earthquake front or rear tine tiller?

Lowes and HD are just now receiving their deliveries of motorized tractors. I've seen them in boxes out in a fenced area in the parking lot.

Well, I read through a bunch of stuff and was leaning to a Cub RT 65, but when I went back to their site today to link to it their site is no longer showing tillers at all :/. Wonder if they're getting ready for the 2021 products. Anyone got a clue?

I have never cared for the single tube handles on tillers because the flex always worries me I guess. But, coming from the steel horses, its probably just what I grew up with vs modern manufacturing and price concerns.

I agree. I try to get my wife to do it but fail continually. Too cheap to pay somebody also.

I was referring to the inherently difficult attachment of a pole to such a low geared machine. They always seem to wobble out the mounting bolts after some seasons and get loosey goosey.

Attaching a pole to a tiller? I don't understand.
Would that be so you can sit in a lounge chair and operate it from a distance?

Truthfully at this point with all the roombas and robotic mowers, I do not understand fully why I am still going out there and breathing exhaust fumes whilst fighting the underground mummies of last season roots. Durn plants don't wanna grow then don't wanna leave! I just bought a lot of fertilizer. Maybe I can buy them off! 😎

So, I actually contacted Cub Cadet and was informed that they are not planning on making any tillers for this season and will potentially drop them altogether, but that isn't fully decided yet.

So I can't imagine buying a CC at this point considering they're choosing to discontinue their product line. That's obviously a huge red flag regarding support for any questions, problems or replacement parts (hopefully that wouldn't ever be an issue)

Red flag? They are going to give a sign “stupid” to anyone that buys one unless it’s a “too cheap to believe” new one.
All parts are interchangeable with MTD model (MTD owns them) so really not as big of a deal (IMO). Still would only buy IF cheap. I have MTD and Cub-I can see no differences in them except paint color.

yeah, TroyBilt and CC are manufactured in the same factory as I understand it.
