It was 44°f (7°C) this morning and breezy. Supposed to be 71° (22°C) this afternoon. Cool!

I wanted to wait to prune the 2 rose bushes in the yard. The rambler over the backyard gate is ridiculous! However, whatever is the remaining 2021 growth will freeze and die so that will make things additionally difficult on the plants. Best to prune a little late so there’s no time for growth.

Thinking about moving my 4 fans outta the way for the season. Don’t want to rush into anything ;). AC can stay in the living room a little longer - some 80’s on the near horizon, we are told.

80’s? 44? 70’s? I am sooo looking forward to that!! Mid 90’s here at 7:38 PM and humid. All I gotta do is nothing, and sweat rolls off. We wait until 6:00 PM to feed animals and I take a sweat bath. Rub on some hay, dirt from the dust cloud, sheep hair because they want to be scratched, petted, brushed and spoiled. Add some dog hair and those durned cob webs the spiders are building in the barn-right where I walk! Sweat makes it all stick really good. LOL

It's 42°, this morning.

I only see one weather underground volunteer with a 39°, not far from the garden. Near, it's a 44°.

One "problem" is indicated by the neighbor tree squirrel. Sometime around the solstice, he was running on top of the fence at 4:15AM. That seemed as early as he would ever show up. This morning, I thought it was about the same amount of light looking out the kitchen window. Didn't see him but it was 5:45. Here, we have lost over 2 1/2 hours from our (nearly exact) 16 hours of daylight on the first day of summer ....

By The Way, @heirloomgal said something about "way up north" at Wawa, Ontario (what a name ;))! I checked. Wawa is just a few minutes of latitude north of where I live :). Like more than half of the Canadians, HeirloomGal lives south of my home, here in the contiguous 48 States ;).
