Sooo.... it's been a horrid drought this year where I am so I essentially gave my garden up for dead since I don't have the time to tend to it along with everything else that I'm trying to keep alive. However, we got some good rain the past two weeks and on a whim I checked the garden for stuff to toss over the fence to the chickens and founds these lovely items in my Cucumber tunnels :)

So I made a tough but ultimately necessary and worthwhile decision: I'm selling my grow tent and all the trimmings with it. I haven't really used it this winter or last, so it's taking up a ton of space and I could really utilize that for something better. What would be better? Why nothing else than a Rogue Echo bike because I want to hate myself ;) and not just hate my buddy, who is a strength and conditioning coach, when I go to his gym and he makes me get on his :/

Anyways, it's a bittersweet situation. I am not using it, so I should get it in the hands of someone that will. That being said I thought it'd sell fast but it's just been sitting out there on CL and FB Marketplace for almost a week now, which is a bit weird :/

Best of intentions, right? I planted all my corn, cucumbers, sunflowers, watermelons and tomatos in the hopes of a glorious garden. Here's my corn rows

But then I got pulled into the full season of softball for two of my girls, even coaching for one of the teams. This meant a good 6 days a week at games or tournaments, so my garden was left to its own devices and I guess I'm growing thistle now *shrug*

I'm also going through a divorce, so there's a lot of everything that goes with that. Guess I should pick up a new hobby like making jewelry or something to get my life on track ;)

when it gets so hot that you don't tolerate being outside much it is good to have some kind of indoor activity that keeps you out of further trouble.
