Here is DD's Apple Blossom Amaryllis at her office last Friday. Looks like 5 flowers.

Ever since I rescued the pathetic red Amaryllis glued to a board a year ago, and revived it, I have gotten fond of them again. I lost one out of total neglect some years ago, you see.
Anyway, I took the 1 "pup" attached to the big bulb and it's growing nice leaves. I ripped off the other 2 "pups" attached to DD's Apple Blossom Amaryllis (see above in full bloom), put soil in a large yogurt container, put enough water in to soak, poked holes in the clear lid, and I have kept it above the fridge, checking to see any progress over the last 6 (I think) weeks.
FINALLY, I get to see some roots!
The root view Really screams "garden porn!"
But the roots are substaintial. I also see a little bit of top growth.
I think by March I will be looking for pots to grow these two in.

This winter's Amaryliss. The red one has outdone itself. It needs a heavier pot as it keeps wanting to fall over.

@ducks4your Great job growin the little pup amaryllis. It will take a few years to grow large enough to send up blooms.
I have a couple started from tiny bulblets and 3 years later they have grown to the side go a golf ball.

This ear has been a whole new sunny winter season. Less rain , still chilly but most of the inside plants in the windows have reacted well from the natural sunlight . Not as much grow light used other than to extend the daytime light for blooming plants.

I'm so happy that Picotee starts growing now, although several weeks later than Happy Nymph.

I also learned from Wiki that

Picotee describes flowers whose edge is a different colour from the flower's base colour. The word originates from the French picoté, meaning 'marked with points'

i think that looks like a flower stalk coming up. is that a really tiny plant or a full sized bulb? if the plant is tiny that shouldn't be a flower stalk, but perhaps i'm just not seeing it very well.

either way, eventually you will have some very beautiful flowers.
