Yesterday I came home to bored puppy destruction. I put them out, made them stay out for an hour. I warned Carson that I was going to let them in and he went out the back door. I also took him for a ride on the mule yesterday morning and when I got home.

Bad Sammy!

When they are outside, they want in. When they are inside, they want out.

Pepper doesn’t care as long as I pet her.

So now it’s Saturday morning. Carson is still luxuriating in my room, not wanting to deal with the intruders. I put them outside so I can have my coffee, Sammy has been banging on the storm door and clawing at the window, wanting back inside. I’ll feed them when I’m done with coffee and I get dressed to go outside and care for the sheep.

Sammy bravely barks at the Anatolians across the driveway, at first they hated him. Now they ignore him. I’ll make them stay outside most of the day. I play with them and wear Sammy out playing tug. Then when I let them in, they are hot and tired and take a long nap. Carson hides behind my recliner from Sammy the Demon Dog. Hilarious!

Going to a friends house this afternoon, I’ll have to crate them while I’m gone. No telling what I’d come home to if I didn’t.

Interesting how I can relate as once an owner of a half Australian shepherd and half Blue Heeler.

And, I had a purebred Pug. She was the one sister in a litter and named Sweet Sister on her pedigree :). I called her Chrissy and her new, adopted, older sister at that time a Border Collie, was Tina. So, I had 2 dogs with the same name: Christina :D.

Chrissy wasn't at all rambunctious, just a normal little Sweet Sister that liked her toys and naps on your lap.

Monday mt DD and family came in with their 3 dogs for me to babysit while they went on vacation. I’ve kept their 2 dogs before, Peppers a blue Merle half Australian shepherd and half Blue Heeler. Sweet girl. And Taco, the chocolate and tan mini weiner dog, a real cutie. But now there’s Sammy, the half pug belonging to oldest granddaughter, who is in Italy for the summer.

Sammy is a terror. Carson hates him and is terrified of the little monster.

Sammy is cute, loves to play and gets into everything. He loves to play tug with his toys and figured out quickly that if he brought it to me, I’d play tug.

Carson got so upset that he crawled his humongous self up in my recliner and turned around. I thought the recliner was going to fall over backwards. In this picture, the back half of his body is piled upon the back of the recliner, next to my head. Pleading eyes are saying, “Please make it STOP.”

And where is Sammy? Trying to get in the recliner too! Little terrorist.

Looking so innocent.

Those are Carson’s toys behind Sammy, I put them up so Sammy doesn’t destroy them. Carson’s life has been violated. LOL

I put them outside in the securely fenced front yard as much as possible.

Taco rolled over, begging, NOOOOOO not outside! It’s HOT out there and Sammy chews on my ears!

Sammy loves the mudhole under the porch and wallows in it. The boundless bundle of uncorked energy comes tearing back in, smearing wet ick on the walls, evading capture until I corner him and put him in the crate to dry off. It of course, is filthy. Not my problem.

I put them out yesterday morning so I could have some resemblance of peace to enjoy my coffee. I did give them their food bowls, I did not stay outside to encourage them to eat and not steal each others food. They don’t eat it all, so I’ll pick it up when I bring them back in before I leave to go to my sisters house to help her unpack.

Sammy the Demon Dog wanted back inside. He was hitting the storm door, then standing on hind legs to peer inside the window, whining piteously. Hard hearted Mamaw ignorinred him.

I took pictures day before yesterday, I was feeding sheep and he wanted so badly to “help” me! Ummm, nope!
