What is the most practical way to keep coffee fresh? Freezer?

that is what i did with mine, i'd grind it into a very fine powder to make Turkish style coffee and then pack it tightly into a pint jar and that would last me several years.

unfortunately the place with the blend i liked the most folded several years after my last resupply about 20yrs ago and i've given up regular coffee or caffiene because of how the headaches just weren't worth it. so i have taken up with a lighter mistress called Hot Chocolate and we had a nice sit down and chin wag last night for 10 minutes or so...

You killed that business. Its your fault. Once in 20 years? Were there skeletons behind the desk when you showed up again? They passed waiting on you to come back!

I like my chocolate at 9pm and frozen.

i now live about an 8hr drive from there and shortly after i left that area i lived in eastern TN for a few years, which is about 20hr drive...

i suspect it was the management that failed as it was a small coffeehouse in a college town. we gave it plenty of business while i was there but i don't know any details about what happened after i left. we had a friend that played music in their loft one night a week, plus we had a regular card game (Bridge) there and i'd stop in a few other times a week when out walking. a different friend was working there and also making cheesecakes. it was a good time. :)

In this college town we had a bookstore that was the best bar and grill around.
