Today was sunny and gorgeous! It was around 55 f. with zero breeze. Oh, so lovely! We ate a picnic lunch over looking the sea.
Your Weather 2025 post from Yesterday fits very well with today's weather here –– Today!

We visited 2 parks this morning and took a nice walk in one of them, under a blue sky & bright sun. DW and I were both using canes as she is recovering from a foot problem but did quite well. It was officially 48°f (9°C) but the quiet and bright shiny day ☀️ seemed warmer and especially so, by afternoon. Didn't last too long and the sun disappeared behind clouds on the SW horizon about 3 but it was "wonderful" midday :).

Same to you and everyone as well. At my house Thursdays (and Mondays) are indoor plant watering days. One week until Thanksgiving!
What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? This question is for everyone. Mine is the homemade cheese ball with crackers! We always snack on that while the bird slowly cooks!

That sounds like a wonderful snack, especially paired with wine!

My favorite dish, hands down, is stuffing. (I cook it in a separate pan, but still call it stuffing.) I shred or cut a large loaf of good bread into bite sized pieces, and add finely chopped garlic, onions, celery, liver, gizzards, hearts, and sausage. I add juice from the bird and also butter, and bake. I could live on stuffing alone!

That sounds delicious! Just like my Gmas recipe except she also added some bite sized pieces of cornbread!

This is not a thanksgiving traditional meal .. Holiday favorite sweet potato pie and mincemeat pie.. escargo a fam fav, and dinner is different this year a Viva La Chicken casserole. Stuffed acorn squash and charcuterie board layered out for snacks.
The kids are coming… Will start cooking soon making pies and pre cook other dishes to add later ingredients to finish up later. For later corned beef and cabbage with red tators and cheesecake with fresh strawberries. Lots of fruit smoothies and fav drinks for all.
