i have package for you @Blue-Jay all ready to go. i'll let you know for sure when it is on the way (probably Tues or Wed).

3 of the 5 have plenty in the return packets (Four Corners Red, Sunrise and SW Gold) and the other 2 (SW Red, Tiger's Eye) have enough to replace what you sent me plus some extra, but not a full 60 seeds.

i'm not likely to grow them all again except sw gold because of how late they are plus how similar to each other 4 of the 5 are (the anasazi pattern just in different colors). sw gold is early enough it will work for my purposes besides if it does end up crossing with Purple Dove perhaps i'll see some greens... the mystery continues...

at least Tiger's Eye are unique enough from the others that there was no risk of them being confused for the others. i may grow them again even if they are a larger bean, but i'm not sure about that yet.

The Blue-Jay arrived home this Monday morning around 6:45. Opening all the bean packages that have arrived so far. Got through a few of them will finish tomorrow.

it was supposed to be a surprise for him but this is now ok too, i'm just glad to have a chance to share them. if you'd like some of them for yourself take a few out because i have plenty and can send more next year.

for some reason the picture supplied shows 7 beans of which i grew 5
(UC Rio Zape was not available and UC Good Daughter Stallard i never knew about and have no idea why it wasn't in the list).

still for what i grew the two that worked the best for me were the UC SW Gold and UC Tiger's Eye. i will give them all another try next year to see what happens and if my initial results will be verified or what...

i also won't mind at all getting these other two for a trial grow for next season if anyone has them for trade.

the UC SW Red and UC Four Corners Red were very similar. so i'm glad i have a better picture of the differences between them and can make sure to aim towards those differences in sorting or selecting.
