It's been 3 weeks.solid ice may take a bit longer to melt than snow.
when i lived up north the shoreline of Lake Superior would build up piles of ice that could stick around into the summer months. one time kayaking along the shore there were piles of ice still melting under some trees on the 4th of July.
Moved it in general place. Dead of winter is when I'll add fabric, pavers and pots.
Corn in current spot. Will move up and become larger.

There's really only two places those mofos come through, French doors, bc they're impossible to fully seal, and windows! Those top gaps when a window is open, even with screens in, they wiggle their way in!
Anyway, they're supposedly bad for some plants, but I've never seen anyone say they bother anything besides your clean walls and your nose.![]()
