Your Paula looks so very nice. I am going to try to grow it this summer. I haven't done a grow out on it since about 2018. Did you try eating any of the geen pods? RL described the bean as a green snap.Paula - Robert Lobitz bush bean.
Yes, I got this one from Metchosin. I wish there was a little more info about it, I might write to them and ask when I get some time.Wow ! That's a beauty. Were you able to purchase it somewhere?

Yes, a pretty clear early indication! I’m told that Rose is particularly prone to off-types. An interesting one to follow up.@Blue-Jay @Decoy1 last week I sowed ten of the Rose Offtype with grey frosted seeds. I wanted to see if it was stable or whether there would be further segregation. It appears that the latter is the case as there are at least two distinct stem colours. Some are completely green with no visible anthocyanin, whereas others are reddish-purple.

Was this a test or will you plant any of these in an outside garden? Are you able to plant beans in your area already?@Blue-Jay @Decoy1 last week I sowed ten of the Rose Offtype with grey frosted seeds.
