Here is the Little Falls. I sent to Artorious. I think I discovered Little Falls about 7 or 8 years ago.

Wow ! That's a beauty. Were you able to purchase it somewhere?
Yes, I got this one from Metchosin. I wish there was a little more info about it, I might write to them and ask when I get some time.

Bigarrada Gris Negre - Pole Dry. A Catalonian heirloom from Spain. To say this bean is productive is an understatment. I'm not sure I have another bean that produces like this one does. On top of it's super productivity the bean is beautiful. Obtained this bean in 2024 from my wonderful Canadian bean friend and colleague @heirloomgal.

Bill Leech - Pole Lima. A genuine Kentucky heirloom. Originates around the Pine Mountain area of Harlan County. Someone gave me this bean at the Sustainable Mountain Agricultural seed swap in Berea, Kentucky in November 2024. The bean grew a little smaller than a lima like Florida Speckled but very, very productive plus I don't remember sorting out any culled beans from this one.

@Blue-Jay @Decoy1 last week I sowed ten of the Rose Offtype with grey frosted seeds. I wanted to see if it was stable or whether there would be further segregation. It appears that the latter is the case as there are at least two distinct stem colours. Some are completely green with no visible anthocyanin, whereas others are reddish-purple.

Bird Egg Blue - Bush Dry. Surprisingly this bean did very well in a place where some beans I grew wouldn't even give me one well fill out seed. A bean I discovered and named in the early 1980's. Plants of this bean in the right soil can grow up to 2 feet tall (60 cm). Sold in Canada by Heritage Harvest Seeds, Revival Seeds, and Heritage Hobby Seed Ark. Glen Seeds in South Africa, and Living Seeds in South Africa.

Bird Egg - Semi Runner. I first grew these little plump beans after I had obtianed them from the Seed Savers Exchange Growers Network in 1982. Production of this bean can be very good but they grew near a row of California Giant Zinnias and two other beans in that same row did grow their best this past summer.
