Sounds like the year I planted 12 dozen tomato plants. I canned so many tomato products, sauces, etc. Was a wonderful year!:)

Wow! I haven't been on for a while and I may never catch up with what everyone is doing/has done while I've been gone. Weather has us confused with somewhere else. Rainy/wet like we seldom see. We aren't a desert at the moment. lol Hope to actually find my garden beds again and plant everything...

It should. Might look kinda like arms stretching up to head before the seed shell falls off. I haven't even started any seeds yet. We are getting snow, again!

Jackie Clay of Backwoods Home renown talks of canning cabbage. I thinks she just poured off the canning liquid and heated with butter, but it's been a while since I read about it. I'll bet you could find it on their website.

I read a lot, sew, crochet, plan next year's garden and I find myself on the computer more and more.

Well, all that lovely white stuff is almost gone and mud is drying rapidly (they figure close to an inch of moisture). They hope to get into the fields next week. It hasn't gotten much below 30 degrees the rest of this week and up into the 70's for today. Beautiful day!!

Well, it was warmer this morning at 17 degrees and supposed to be in the 70's later in the week. We still have potatoes to harvest (more than a pivot and a half) and grain to plant, so it I hope it warms up and dries out for a couple of weeks, anyway. I keep thinking I will get to move to a...
