I did the Moon & Stars last season and they did wonderful and I grew them in our garden in our not so blessed Georgia soil.
Medium size melons and very sweet just a good melon I will be growing them again this year along with some Tender Sweets orange flesh melons.

I was concerned I wouldn't know which tomato plant was what :rolleyes: I knew I had some colored paper clips in my desk and a light went off in my head use those to identify the plants. I was thinking of just putting in the clips and writing down the color and name of the seed but I came up with...
Thanks so much to everyone that helped me with my wanting use use clamp on lights for seed trays.
As you can see in my picture the seedlings are growing and thriving under the 2 clamp lights with 100watt Fluorescent Bulbs.
This has been such a wonderful learning experience and I hope to move up...
My Turn :D I love to Garden and I had a Wind Chime in my garden it had "Wind Notes"in letters and little floating music notes painted on the little wooden square thing that hangs between the metal pipes.
I love, love, love Butterflys so I combined the two "Wind Notes & Butterflies" :D
I highly Recommend Bakers Creek Heirloom seeds They have super customer service and loads of seed variety's.

I was going to order the Ground Cherry but I read somewhere they could be toxic if eaten in large quanitys
I have tried the Chichiqelite Huckleberry it wasn't good and not sweet at all.
Tried the Litchi Tomato Beautiful plant that the small green worms just devoured I couldn't keep them off...
All my life I have been involved in gardening in some way if it was to help gathering as a child or as and adult growing my own.
I stepped into the world of Heirloom Seeds last year and fell completely in love with them.
I was amazed at how much they grew taller and better than the store bought...
I posted here last week about using clamp lights as seed growing lights and someone gave me the advice I could.
They said to use a florescent bulb and gave me the watts.
:rolleyes: Well I went to the store today and bought a pack of those swirlly florescent bulbs 3 pack for $6 they are 75 watt...
