we rented a tiller and look what we did..

it is 19 by 18 feet

there are 3 raised beds from last year.. the bed closest to the right side does not have dirt in it yet.. it will soon! the furthest bed is already planted with Onions, shallots and garlic..

the middle bed will have peppers and lots of peppers..

the one on the right we are not sure of..

we have 7 rows to play with, the row closest to the right fence.. there is a fence betwen those small short posts.. mostly to keep the dog out.. it is COVERED with electric wire.. the dog wont go near it.. right now it is grounded out but the dog doesnt know that and I hopefully will get it fixed before she does.. ;) but that first row is going to be all tomatos I am going to use that fence to help stake up the tomatos along with some more stakes..

The other tall fence you can see just the tall posts under the tree.. will be finished soon too.. we have to go and pick up the wood.

I have two of those jiffy trays .. the large ones with the green house cover filled with seeds so far and I have enough to fill another.. I have 30 strawberry plants to go in a row too..

along the farthest back we left a row along the back so that we can plant peas all along the back fence and let them climb and some cucumbers too.. peas to the right cucumbers to the left.

just to the left (out of the picture) is the chicken coop. as soon as I fix the netting on top I will take a picture of the whole thing.. we plan on hanging boxes for herbs on the outside of the coop too.. trying to maximize space.. I will take a pic of the fruit trees I planted 2 weeks ago as well..

Thats awesome. For a tiller (we just bought one) we shopped Craigslist for about two weeks before we got one. Got it at a good price too. What are the yellow thingies towards the bottom of the fence post? I tilled mine a couple of weeks ago and jut got the rows howed (is "howed" right?) out today. We are going to plant this weekend. Yours looks pretty good.

ha ha that is the electric fence for the dog she is an escape artist.. it goes up along the top of the fence too on long nails..

I let the chickens in there this evening and my nice rows are not so nice any more.. only on the one side.. easy fix..

and I used a flat shovel to make my rows.

we rented a tiller.. 21.00 for half the day..
