@flowerbug I took a photo of the older seeds in lieu of my poor description - a picture is worth a thousand words! ;) They're definitely more striking when fresh

The Zazza seeds I sowed looked similar to the ones in the picture. The colors were already oxidized. A year without a fridge or freezer is enough for this.

I'll set some aside for your collection 🫡

Great! Thank you @Triffid. We will discuss the details in PM.

I labeled his parcel and then took a picture and sent it to him, JUST in case. Also, gives him a little assurance. It was addressed WRONG! Google must have translated auto pilot what he wrote because I wrote it just EXACTLY as it appeared on the screen. If I hadn't shown the picture to him it would be flying to Shangrila right now. He confirmed it was a translation glitch. Boy, that was some good luck!
Glad you thought to confirm the address. Hoping both parcels arrive with no issues.

are those well aged or is that how they came from the pods? if from the pod they would be darker enough i would consider them a different variety (based upon the two pictures i'm seeing posted here :) )...
This is my Hewitt shortly after harvesting in 2022 so I can confirm the darker colouring.

pinto, light red kidney, small red kidney.

i have no preference at all now. they're all pretty good. :) i used to grow a small firm bean that i called Tan Goats Eye, but i've not grown that in bulk for several years. too many others i want to grow so that one fell out of rotation. you could cook it for a long time and it would not fall apart.

Me too. So far so good. I was amazed how much work it was for the postal lady to figure out how to get the parcel put into the system because addresses to South America are sooo different. I guess Uruguay is not a common destination for Northern Ontario post offices. 😂

I agree that those are all good ones. I've tried all that you mentioned.
