my carnivorous bog—I need to weed it later.
one of the first things i did as a kid was have a carnivorous terrarium with venus flytraps in it. i managed to get them to flower and hand fertilized them to get some seeds, which i then sprouted. went away for a week and asked my sister to keep the sprouts moist but she forgot about them and i came home to tiny black threads of nothing left at all.
they were cute while they lasted.
